Inaugural Post

Okay, so I figured I had to take the plunge at some point so I'm going for it. The blog starts here. I was waiting for the perfect day, perfect event, perfect reason to begin and I've decided that on that perfect day, I won't have time and on the days I have time, like today, nothing exciting is going to happen. I thought I'd start with this practice run and see how it goes. I also realized it was important to keep things online for Avery's sake. We look at our pictures on the computer on a daily basis and we have never once cracked open a photo album. I still print the pictures out but I thought this would be easier 50 years from now. I also have a few journals that I started for her when she was tiny. I did really well for a few months and then I realized how much she would dread carrying 18 books with her when she moved out so I'm trying to lessen her load.

This is the most recent video I have of her talking. It's a couple of months old now but it's pretty clear. She has started putting lots of words together now (Matt's truck, kiss Dixie ouchie, go Pop house) so I'll try to get some more video. I'll also try to get some dancing on video because it's possibly the funniest thing I've ever seen.
